Hong Kong + Macau Trip Part (1.2)

9/4/2011- 10/4/2011

So, i ended my previous entry on my lunch at Causeway Bay...

After lunch and shopping around Causeway Bay, i don't know what causes our sudden decision to spend the night in Macau than HK.

We headed back to my hotel, packed some things and left for Macau!

There are a few ferry terminals departing from HK-> Macau or vice versa. The whole journey takes approx 1hour +-. It's simple and convenient.

The one i took:

Alight at MTR: Sheung Wan Station... follow the sign boards to  信德中心(Shun Tak Centre).

There will be a few ferry companies for you to choose from. Eg. Turbojet, CotaiJet, FirstFerry.

As the picture showed, the ticket cost HK$168 single trip.

Reminder: Once you entered the waiting area, be sure to get a seat number from the person in-charge.
They will then paste a seat number sticker for you (the orange sticker) on your boarding ticket.

In the ferry....

One hour later when we finally reached Macau... CS started showing me around, explaining to me the history/ infrastructure of almost all buildings/ pathways/ structures. AND helped me took lots of photos of Macau. (Because he said, the pictures i took cant represent Macau! LOL)

Side note: You can actually hop on to any of the free shuttle bus at the ferry terminal provided by the hotels (supposedly meant for the hotel guests only) to the hotels nearest to your destinaton. Eg. Venetian Hotel (Because it would have to cross the long bridge to another town of Macau).

Macau consists of the Macau Peninsula itself and the islands of Taipa and Coloane.

We first stopped by a Japanese Restaurant for dinner...

Soft shell crab- recommended by CS.
I don't usually eat SSC, but i was forced by the host to finish 1/4 plate of it.

Hmm... not bad :P
Fresh Salmon and more salmon..
And now it's time to EXPERIENCE MACAU...

Really don't know why, the plaza was VERY empty... less than 5 i could count.

So beautiful...

Hotels+ Casinos in Macau were all so GRAND... SGs' are really nothing compared to them...

The whole town was so vibrant. I remembered i called it a ‘花花世界’... LOL...

After visiting/ entering the grand hotels and casinos one after another, i already don't know which is which... but all of them were just so majestic, magnificent.

To end the day, you can drop by any of the bars or pubs near the MGM hotel...

P.S The hotel i like most was The Venetian Hotel, which i visited the next day. However, my camera died on me so i didn't have photos of it... :((

To be continued... coming up next... (HK + Macau Day 2)
